Since September, Coldsprings has logged over 349 visits to schools in different districts through New England. We have multiple dogs trained to be resource officers and spend time educating our young people on service/therapy dogs. Children are our future, so an important part of our program is education. They learn if a people has a service dog how to respond, what a life changing partnership it is. They also learn with therapy dogs how to breathe, reset, relax, and trust their unjudging friend. Dogs teach us so many important skills from body language, unbiased behavior, friendship and loyalty all important skills children also need to learn.
