You’re worth should not be determined by the amount of dogs you were able to groom in a day. There are many days where I only do four dogs. Sometimes I only do two dogs, and then there are other days where I can do six or seven dogs. It all completely depends on the dog behavior how they are acting, their coat type, the condition they come in. There are so many factors that can go into it. We are not robots. We are not an assembly line. Pricing also factors into this as well. Saying you are a power Groomer and are able to get 10 to 15 or more dogs done in a day does not make you better or worse than a Groomer who only does 4 to 6 dogs a day. We are all different. We all charge differently, and we are all artists in our own way, and we all work at a different pace.
