Another day another happy customer! Simple plaques are always refreshing, especially after longer more complex builds. They’re good for allowing the brain to relax a bit.

What do you get when you cross a Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt who loves his Valentina hot sauce with a bunch of his peers who have a good imagination? You get a 4 foot tall, hot sauce bottle shaped plaque with a customized label. This plaque was a blast to make. I was given a bit of a rough sketch to go off of, and just ran with it from there. From finding a near perfect font to match the inspiration, to making custom stickers and COLOR MATCHING HOTSAUCE at the homestore paint section this plaque was really a change of pace. I even had some of the printable sticker paper left over so I decided to throw the custom design label on a real bottle of the hot sauce so we had a mini edible version of his plaque!

Back to the usual grind of Marine Corps plaques! We have another bow rack! This bow rack is made entirely out of of Tennessee black walnut with a small piece of bubinga for the write up plate. I was all out of locally sourced antlers so I opted for a more sleek and simple stainless steel rod to act as the bow supports. I still opted to cap the heavy duty connective hardware with shell casings though for those bang bang hunter vibes

Not quite as grand as the last light saber/Star Wars themed plaque, but cool nonetheless. This is a lightsaber that I woodturned using my lathe, it was then painted and displayed on this cool custom display stand
