On this Travel Tuesday, we are on Bear Island, a must-visit beach for the adventurers among us. It’s the crown jewel of Hammocks Beach State Park. Bear Island hosts nesting sea turtles each year, and the “no trash” policy keeps the beach pristine and protected for generations to come. A visit to Bear Island is a great way to spend a day at the beach during National Parks and Recreation Month!
