The ADA News recently highlighted Dr. Meymand's Humanitarian Mission trip to the Phillippines with her female OMS colleagues in February 2023 in honor of Children's Dental Health Month. They provided care to patients, performed cleft lip and palate surgeries.

Our Dr. Meymand was featured as our Hometown Hero "Stories of Service" on First Coast News in January 2023. We thank Dr. Meymand for her sacrifice and service to our country!

Stories of Service: Dr. Samira Meymand promoted to captain in United States Navy Dr. Meymand was the first female oral maxillofacial surgeon to practice in the heart of Mandarin. Now, she's adding another title to her list of achievements.
