The International Society for Technology in Education is a global community dedicated to helping educators use technology to revolutionize learning.
Congratulations to MVES DLTF Jerri Sydes and Media Specialist Megan Kester for their completion of ISTE’s Certification for Educators!
This certification is a globally recognized credential that shows that educators have met the ISTE Standards for Educators, which are based on teaching methods, not on specific tools or devices. ISTE Certification aims to transform educational practice, no matter the individual’s role, be it classroom teacher, instructional designer, library media specialist, technology coach, school administrator, or something else.

This past week, our Mustangs had the opportunity to participate in Step Up Day! 🐎🧡 Students spent time getting a sneak peek of the next grade level and what’s ahead for them next year. It was a great way to build excitement, ease nerves, and get everyone ready for the transition!

A special thank you to Mr. Bryant York, Career Development Coordinator for our Southwest schools, for taking time to speak with our rising 6th graders about what to expect in middle school. Your message made a big impact as our students prepare for their next chapter!

¡Esta semana, nuestros Mustangs tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en el Día de Avance! 🐎🧡 Los estudiantes pasaron tiempo conociendo el próximo grado y lo que les espera el próximo año. Fue una excelente manera de crear entusiasmo, reducir nervios y prepararlos para la transición.
