Perfect weather today. I'll be in the Bob Hawks 5h, We will have shirts and even some Rc cars from Route 66 model raceway for sale under the grandstand tonight.

Tap Tap. Is this thing working? Uh... If I could have your attention for a moment... I'd like to say a few words. Three to be exact: IT'S RACE DAY!!!

Yes... tonight on this beautiful Sunday evening people and race cars will come together again at Jacksonville Speedway. Over the past 6 weeks of silence our community has come together in support of this place and the people who love it in a way that will always be a bright light in a dark time.

Tonight we invite you... yes, YOU who might have never been here before, who might wonder what all of the fuss is about, who might not even know if race cars turn left or right... to join us as we return to doing what we do here. You aren't a stranger. We think you might just happen to crack a smile and say "WOW! That was fun! and I saw so many friends I didn't expect!"

And if you are one of the 20,000 people waking up in Knoxville, Iowa this morning after a week of Sprint Cars and still haven't quite had enough of it - Stop by. If you live in Indy - we are about 50 miles out of the way. If you live in Nashville, we aren't out of the way at all. Park the camper here and spend the night.

Don't forget that your armbands from June 28th will get you in tonight or any night up to the value you paid, or you can just pay at the window and donate your armband back to assist in the recovery expenses of Hank.
