• Russian freediver Andrey Matveenko, a respected athlete and brand ambassador for Cetma Composites, has passed away at age 45.

• Matveenko suffered a severe medical emergency during a 126.5m dive at the 2024 CMAS World Championships in Greece, leading to months of recovery.

• Cetma Composites paid tribute to him as an inspiring figure whose “passion, expertise, and humanity” left a lasting legacy in the freediving community.
