The holidays can bring feelings of togetherness and enjoyment, but they can also be a time that brings up sadness, fear, grief, and loss.
It is okay to struggle during the holidays. It is okay to create new traditions and rituals. It is okay not to celebrate at all.

It is essential to remember these resources and share them during the holidays. Survivors may need additional support during this time.

Thank you Briana Roberts for your wise words.

When we think about abuse, physical and sexual abuse are the most universally identified. But those are part of a greater system of abuse at play.
Start the conversation on power and control and educate yourself and others to end gender based violence.
Name these issues, speak out against them and continue to take action.
