Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

Maintains a safe and secure environment for guests by patrolling and monitoring premises.

Security Officer Job Duties:

Secures premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Dispatch and communicate with Law Enforcement as needed.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; trespassing as needed.

Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

MUST have active D and active G license.

MUST have dependable transportation to/from work daily.

MUST have ability to work a full 7 or 14-hour shift daily.

MUST be physically fit and able to stand without assistance on post.

MUST NOT use personal cell phones on site!!

All assigned officers will be responsible for the safety of State staff and civilian personnel testing residents at drive up test sites. Officers will ensure the test site location I maintains a safe and uniform response to the current pandemic, and prevent theft or damage to any state property during the conduct of their duties
