The Smithsonian has arrived at the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum in Visit Meridian!
Invention can happen anywhere, and it's happening right now in small towns across America! "Spark! Places of Innovation" exhibition highlights innovation in rural America from the perspective of the people who lived it. The traveling exhibit is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution's Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and the Mississippi Humanities Council.
"Spark!" will be in Meridian until August 15 before traveling the rest of the state. Check out the link in our bio to see when is coming to a town near you!
The 2026-2027 Mississippi "Spark!" tour is made possible thanks to the generous support of our state sponsor, Huntington National Bank.
