When the return of Christ is presented in Scripture, we always see a great motivation to TAKE ACTION. In 1 Thessalonians 5:6 Paul says, "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled." We should be encouraging other believers, sharing the Gospel, living with expectancy, fixing our eyes and hearts on kingdom business, and committed to doing God's will in everything we do. This is by no means a passive task. Every generation since the beginning of the Church has believed that Jesus is coming soon, and it affected the way they lived. We are no different. Are you ready?
