✨ New Faces at the Front Desk – Meet Tasha! ✨

We’re wrapping up our new-hire spotlight series by introducing Tasha, one of our newest Wellness Clerks here at Baptist Healthplex—and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on our team!

💙 Her role at the Healthplex:
As a Wellness Clerk, Tasha helps members learn more about everything the Healthplex has to offer. She’s passionate about making sure each member has a seamless, informative, and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk in the door.

💙 Why health, fitness & wellness?
Tasha loves working out and has a strong background in healthcare, so being in a wellness-focused environment feels like the perfect alignment. She enjoys knowing her work can inspire and encourage others on their own health journeys.

💙 Something you might not know:
Tasha is a young homeowner, has been working in health information management for about five years, is pursuing her RHIA, and is building a career in healthcare administration with her master’s degree—talk about driven! 👏

💙 How she stays active:
She enjoys staying active in ways she’s passionate about—going to the gym, eating healthy, exploring new places, and helping those in need.

💙 Her encouragement for you:
“It’s okay to fall short sometimes. What truly matters is continuing to try and push forward. Your commitment to your fitness goals is what ultimately drives success.”

We hired 3 new ladies who officially started in January, and we want to take a moment to give them a proper introduction here on social media!

If you took any of our group fitness classes last year, you’re probably already familiar with our intern Lexus—and let’s just say… we loved her so much, we asked her to stay! 💫

So allow us to officially welcome Lexus as one of our newest Wellness Clerks at the front desk.

💙 What she’s most excited about:
Helping our members—especially our older members—navigate their electronics when technology gets confusing. (Yes, she’s that kind of patient and helpful.)

💙 Why health & wellness?
Lexus always knew she wanted to help people and work in the health field—just without blood or needles 😅. Training and therapy felt like the perfect fit.

💙 Fun fact:
She’s a country girl through and through…and she knows how to drive a tractor 🚜

💙 How she stays active:
When she can’t make it to the gym, she makes sure to walk at least a mile and gets a good stretch in.

💙 Her message to you:
“Restart as many times as you need. You’ll figure out what works best for you. There’s no right or wrong way to your fitness journey.”
