Pitch: The distance that a propeller would move in one revolution if it were moving through a soft solid. For Piranha it is represented in the second half of the part number, so 1418A-4 would be a 18 pitch prop.
Pitch is like a set of gears. Pitch too low and your RPM's will run high putting undesirable stress on the motor. Pitch too high and your motor will lug at a low RPM.
