One of the most common email issues we see (aside from the phishing emails) is people not knowing their password and losing access to their account because the recovery email address is obsolete.
Or the recovery phone number is obsolete.
Or they don't remember the answers to their security questions.

So.

Go out today and UPDATE ALL OF THAT INFORMATION in your email account!

Maybe for your Facebook account, too, because that's the next one people lose access to.

Write it down. Put it somewhere safe in your house.

And don't get mad when your computer person can't help you because we don't have a special line with yahoo, gmail or hotmail to get you access to your account
