Back 2 Basics Boys Youth Basketball Development Camp

Parents,

We are excited to invite boys in Grades K–6 to join us for our Back 2 Basics Boys Basketball Youth Development Camp! This camp is designed to help young athletes build a strong foundation in the game while developing the character, confidence, and leadership skills that will benefit them both on and off the court.

Throughout the day, campers will receive instruction from the Northwest High School coaching staff and student-athletes in the areas of:
🏀 Ball Handling
🏀 Passing
🏀 Shooting
🏀 Footwork
🏀 Defense
🏀 Basketball IQ
🏀 Teamwork & Leadership

Our goal is simple: Teach the fundamentals the right way while creating a positive, encouraging, and energetic environment where every camper can learn, grow, and have fun.

At Northwest Basketball, we believe in developing more than just great players—we strive to develop great teammates, strong leaders, and outstanding young men.

⏰ Grades K–3: 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM
⏰ Grades 4–6: 11:45 AM – 2:00 PM

📍 Location: Northwest High School Gymnasium

Attention: student athletes, here is the boys basketball conditioning and workout schedule for the month of July.

Attention Boys Basketball players: summer workouts/practice will be held Friday from 5:30pm to 7pm at Northwest High School.

Update from day one at the Reaching Higher Invitational: despite finishing 0-2, numerous positive takeaways were gleaned from this experience. Our team's development is trending upward through this process. The boys demonstrated tenacity and competitiveness. Day two commences today, with the first game scheduled for 4:30pm and the second game at 5:25pm. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to compete at the highest level. Appreciation is extended to the BCAM Coaches Association for considering our program as a top rising program representative for the state of Michigan.

JV SUMMER BASKETBALL SCRIMMAGE INVITATION 🏀

The Northwest Mounties Boys Basketball Program is looking for two JV basketball teams to join us for a 3-Team Summer Scrimmage Event on:

🕛 12:00 PM (Noon)
📍 Northwest High School

This event is designed to provide young players with a valuable opportunity to:
✅ Gain live game experience
✅ Develop team chemistry
✅ Evaluate player growth and development
✅ Prepare for the upcoming season in a competitive environment

Each team will have the opportunity to compete against the other participating teams in a structured scrimmage format. Our goal is to create a positive, competitive, and developmental experience for all programs involved.
