U.S. employers cut over 60,000 jobs in March as advances in artificial intelligence were felt across multiple sectors, according to figures released Thursday by outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Yet, people relying on AI are also loosing their jobs due to the misinformation AI gives.

KIDS ONLINE SAFETY ACT...Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti has joined a bipartisan coalition of 40 attorneys general in urging congressional leadership to pass the Kids Online Safety Act.

The Senate version of the legislation includes a duty-of-care requirement and preserves states’ authority to enforce and strengthen protections for minors.

This is an effort to prevent Congress from tying the hands of state lawmakers and law enforcement who are actively working to protect children from addictive and harmful online design features.
