IBEW Local 480 Crawfish Boil 2026

We had a great turnout this year and an even better time! The food was outstanding, thanks to the hard work of Bill Dulaney, and the kids had a blast with the slide and bounce house provided by Richie Stegall.

It was a day full of food, friends, family, and fellowship—exactly what Local 480 is all about.

A big thank you to all of our staff members and their families who stepped up to serve and help wherever needed. Your efforts made the day run smoothly and successfully.

We also want to recognize and thank William Duncan, Mark Stewart, Benjamin Davenport, Jackson Hale, Monif Nasher, and Gregory Atkins. Your help did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event such a success.

From the Business Manager

In today’s environment, work here in the South—and especially in Mississippi—is at an all-time high. It’s not just the amount of work that is remarkable, but also the size and scope of the projects taking place across our area.

Across the country, the main topic of conversation is manpower. Even world news is now discussing how many Journeyman Wiremen will be needed to meet the demands of the wave of AI facilities currently being constructed.

This is why it is more important than ever that we work together to help organize electrical workers in our region. We must continue educating workers about what the IBEW stands for and the security our union provides through wages, benefits, and opportunities for members and their families.

There has never been a better time than right now to share your story—what the IBEW has meant to you and what it has done for your life and your family. Your story can make a difference.

Thank you for your continued support.
