🌿👏 We would like to take a moment to thank Jacksonians Locke Ward and Mark Mori, along with their dedicated crew, for taking the initiative to clean up the lot at the Willie Morris Library!

Over the past few years, Locke Ward has been on a mission to help keep our streets and neighborhoods clean, and with the support of community-minded partners like Mark Mori, that mission continues to make a positive impact throughout Jackson. Their hard work, leadership, and commitment to community service are helping create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming spaces for everyone.

We are incredibly grateful for their efforts and for choosing to support one of our library locations. Thank you to Mr. Ward, Mr. Mori, and all the volunteers who donated their time and energy to make a difference.

🦖📚 Get Ready for The Dinosaur Experience! 📚🦖

Step back in time and explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs during this exciting Summer Reading Program event!

As part of our 2026 Summer Reading theme, "Unearth a Story," children and families are invited to join us for The Dinosaur Experience, an interactive adventure filled with prehistoric discovery, learning, and fun. Young explorers will have the opportunity to learn about dinosaurs, fossils, and the incredible creatures that once roamed the Earth.

📍 Program Schedule – Tuesday, June 9, 2026:
🦕 Jackson Medical Mall – 10:00 AM
🦕 Willie Morris Library – 12:00 PM
🦕 Margaret Walker Alexander Library – 2:00 PM
🦕 Quisenberry Library – 3:30 PM

Large daycares and camps are encouraged to RSVP. Space is limited.
