This article in The Hill by Henry Fernandez, CEO of the African American Research Collaborative and longtime friend and partner of Fahrenheit Creative Group, is a great follow-up to our first Freedom House event with Mississippi Votes.

Henry drops a few gems (that he backs up with data) in this piece, including:

💎 "Race, ethnicity and income should not determine who gets to vote in America."

💎 "In presidential elections, the Democrats haven’t won a majority of white voters since 1964. Every victory since then has required strong turnout from communities of color."

💎 "We need aggressive registration to rebuild what suppression has taken, and sustained engagement to win registered voters."

💎 "The math hasn’t changed — Black and Latino voters still matter. The question is how to reach them."
