Meet Drew Peeples, a Madison, Mississippi native and graduate of Madison Central High School currently pursuing his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Mississippi State University, expected in 2028. Drew’s passion for architecture began at a young age through building with Legos and creating anything he could design and construct.

Looking ahead, he plans to continue his education in sustainable bioproducts with a focus on wood design, with the goal of incorporating wood detailing into projects where it is not traditionally used.

Outside of school, Drew enjoys spending time in Hattiesburg with his girlfriend, playing golf with his dad and uncle, and relaxing with video games.

We enjoyed working with UMMC to design this long needed facility. It's a rewarding experience to improve the care of those who need help.

UMMC has opened a dedicated psychiatric emergency services unit within the adult emergency department, creating a safer space and a more coordinated approach for patients in crisis.
