Today, our fourth grade scholars participated in an engaging WE Build IT Better lesson! Students learned how food is converted into energy and explored the important role nutritionists play in helping people stay healthy. They also reviewed safety rules and practiced properly using tools such as screwdrivers during hands-on activities.

The purpose of the WE Build IT Better program is to engage elementary and middle school scholars in hands-on STEAM learning through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The program helps students develop workforce readiness skills, product design knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while exposing them to real-world career opportunities.
