About five years ago a new manager joined the staff at Bella Terra Assisted Living where my mother lived. My mother fell instantly in love with her.

Every morning, my mother would have breakfast, go up to her apartment for a little bit and then go down to the first floor in search of Amy

Weeks on end, all I heard about was Amy Amy Amy

I finally got to meet this Amy, and then I understood why.

Huge-hearted fun-loving Amy brought joy to every resident… every minute of every day, making life fun, filled with music and laughter, colorful and happy.

My mother found me an adopted sister!
