🚨FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY UPDATE🚨

A good portion of central MS is under a tornado watch until 11 PM. The potential for tornadoes is higher in areas south of I-20. Otherwise, expect to see more severe thunderstorms that contain damaging wind gusts or hail.

It looks like the severe threat will be done by around midnight but have multiple ways to receive warnings until then!

The severe threat for our First Alert Weather Day on Wednesday has increased to a level 3 in areas north of I-20. In those areas, severe storms with damaging wind gusts or hail will be more likely. You will also see the heavier rain in those spots. The rest of the area will see isolated severe storms. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, but damaging wind and hail will be the primary concerns anywhere across central MS.

The good news is we have gorgeous weather for outdoor activities the next 7 days... the bad news is y'all will have to hear me say some variation of "warm and dry" for all of them 🤣
