Aaron Hurd, a Houston, Texas native, pursued dual degrees in Mathematics and Biology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Afterward, he enrolled in medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

During medical school, Aaron actively participated in teaching roles, including as a teaching assistant in the gross anatomy laboratory. His academic achievements were recognized when he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Aaron values his family life with his wife, Annie, and their dog, Cash. They eagerly anticipate the arrival of their first child, Margot. He also enjoys supporting the University of Alabama football team, cycling, and powerlifting.

A rainy Saturday ortho hangout with surprise guest appearances by Dr. Reed and Dr. Russell. It’s always a good time when residents, attendings, and staff get together! S/O to the amazing scrub techs and circulators that came out! Dream team in and outside of the OR!
