Well... I am no longer the official owner of 120 South Cayuga St., Ithaca, NY 💞🤯💞
It was a great 23+yrs and I will forever be thankful to everyone that was a part of this chapter in my life but it's also a great relief to be done with this chapter 💓
The same crew of Piercers and Tattoo Artists are still there and have been operating as Ithaca Piercing and Tattoo for the past year and will continue to be there for you. Update : Covid was a good time for me, Dawn, to step away from the business and do something else with my life for a while.
The shop crew has taken over and is now operating as Ithaca Piercing and Tattoo... same location, same great Piercers/Tattoo Artist, same phone number, just a new name 😊❤
Follow them here or on Instagram to stay up to date with all they have going on... I hear they're ready to start piercing Nostrils again too so, give them a call or head to the website and schedule your appointments.

After long thought and the threat of covid still very alive and well, I have made the very solid choice to leave Steihls. I know for a lot, if not all, of my loyal clients and potential clients this will come as a shock. But rest assured I have another location, which will be solely independent, opening in the next few months. I would never leave you all high and dry. Tomorrow will be my last day working for stiehls. This decision did happen faster than expected but for my mental health, my and my sons physical health and for all of yours, this is the best decision I can make. I ask you please respect that. If you feel you cannot wait to get work done I can refer you to some amazing artist in or around the area. Please keep an eye out for updates on my new studio and scheduling in the near future. I thank all of you for your constant support and understanding.

Okay people... there is still a Mask Order in effect!!
As long as the mask order is in effect we can not/will not be offering any piercings that involve your Mouth or Nose. A correctly worn mask covers both of those regions 🤷‍♀️

THERE IS STILL A MASK ORDER IN PLACE!!😷
As long as the mask order is in place, we can NOT and will NOT be doing any piercings or jewelry changes that involve the Nose or Mouth area... there's a reason these services are NOT listed on the Booking app of the website, we didn't just "forget" to list them 🤷‍♀️
WHEN it is safe to do so again, we will surely add these services back to the options.
** and NO, we do NOT know of anyplace else offering these services (we wouldn't recommend such a place anyways!)

EVERYTHING has to be done by APPOINTMENT ... the doors are locked and you have to call and let us know that you have arrived. We will meet you at the door, scan your temp and have you sanitize your hands. MASKS MUST BE WORN!!! No mask, No entry, No exceptions 🤷‍♀️ if you aren't willing to pay my mortgages and utilities there's nothing else to discuss about the guidelines.

A few reminders...
** IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, YOU CAN NOT COME IN THE STORE.
We HAVE to follow guidelines if you want us to continue to be able to be open. Appointments will be needed for EVERYTHING, including jewelry purches and changes.

** No Mask = No Entry/Service
** If its covered by a mask, we will NOT be piercing it... This means NO Nostrils, Septums, Lips, Tongues, no matter what name you call it, NOTHING Oral or Nasal related.

Okay peoples... we're PLANNING on REOPENING the 19th!!!!
Keep in mind these few things...

* Walk-ins will NOT be happening - not even for jewelry purchases.
* You will NOT be able to bring anyone with you for your appointment- 1client/1artist
* Masks WILL BE WORN!!! Both by client and artist
* PIERCINGS - If its covered by a mask, its NOT happening - No Nostrils, Septums, Lips, Tongues, nothing Nose/Mouth related... for Ears, make sure your masks aren't ear loop ones!!
** We'll post more guidelines and the definite date the closer it gets... 🤞🤞 for the 19th.

This whole process will take some time for Us to adjust to as well, keep that in mind as you try to schedule appointments, have patience and we will get everyone taken care of ASAP... it has never been a part of our business plan to p**s people off and I'm sure all of this will inevitably p**s off someone...this has been just as frustrating a time for us as it has for you... remember, you are not alone in waiting for us to reopen, we're ALL in this TOGETHER 💗
There's probably not anyone in the studio to answer phone calls yet, if we're there, we're busy preparing for this and not answering. Leave a CLEAR message and keep it brief... "Name, would like to schedule tattoo/piercing with - artist name - phone number"... not super fast either, we gotta be able to write this stuff down to get back to ya 🤷‍♀️ If its about an issue with a piercing, please, don't go into a 5min explanation, if it requires that, send an email 😘
Emails... put "Tattoo or Piercing" / "Artist Name" - if you have a preference in the Subject line.

We're excited to get to see everyone again but remember... we need to follow ALL GUIDELINES to be able to continue 💗

We really do miss you all and can't wait till we can re-open and get back to helping you with your Piercings and Tattoos.

We're really missing being able to be in the studio for all your Piercing and Tattoo needs but, have no fear... we will brush up on all the "social distancing" piercing techniques and be ready when this Pandemic is over!
