This week featured , our app meant to help Ithacans make informed choices about where to go 📍 for things like dining out or grocery shopping.

“We’ve changed our minds about when to go based on the app. We’ve been avoiding crowds, partly because of COVID but also just to avoid the gong show that happens when too many Ithacans go to the same place at the same time”, users reported. 📰

Our team had a meeting with the Center for Hybrid Intelligence from Aarhus Universitet to discuss possibilities and ethical challenges in developing models that put humans at the center when interacting with machines.
