June 9th, tomorrow is EZ Listening: Thurbs, Jeremy Bussmann, Norm Scott in Room K at K-House Karaoke & Arts Hub. It's time for our last artist bio! This time we've got Norm Scott!

Inventor, sound designer, and video editor Norm Scott builds wacky contraptions and audio-visual installations, both functional and imaginary. His penchant for documenting family and friends with a handheld tape recorder eventually yielded a career in audio recording and production, and a handful of albums, including the contemporary works "H2so4" and "Bone Music". In recent years, Norm has worked locally with House of Ithaqua, Cherry Arts, Arhanta Studio, and the Beyond Art Collective to lend his interdisciplinary talents in videography, sound design, music composition, and motion graphics. He currently divides his time between PhotoSynthesis Productions, Cornell University, his own venture Scott Mediaworks, and the crucial work of being a dad.
