Thanks to everyone who bought baked goods over the weekend, we were able to make a $60 contribution to Mutual Aid Wildlife Rehabilitation Center - MAWR. I appreciate you all & hope to be back at it in one way or another soon. 🖤🧁🍪📚✨

The long version: I was up late baking & prepping for today’s farmers market. Chocolate-chip cookies, PB-chocolate cupcakes, frosted sugar cookies. All vegan & gluten-free, as always. This morning, Adam was loading up the truck when a large bird (hawk?) swooped down into the yard. They were startled by Adam and they flew off - leaving a pigeon behind!! Adam picked up the pigeon, alive but limping, and put them into a box. While this was unfolding I found out there was a surprise Chicken BBQ situation setting up at the market that I was supposed to be heading to. All of my hurry-up-and-get-out-the-door disappeared as I realized that wasn’t where I wanted to be. I wanted to help the pigeon. So now we are unloading my car so we can bring them to a wildlife hospital in Ithaca. And I am hoping that some of you kind souls will help me unload these baked goods & help out a wildlife rehabilitation center in the process. ❤️‍🩹
