The NYS DMV will be closed statewide starting Friday, Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. for a system upgrade. Services will resume Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.

During this time, all in-person, phone, and online DMV services will be unavailable, which may impact some Personal and Commercial Auto transactions.
