I just came across a Wedding Show review that is too good to not be shared...

"This is absolute chaos in the best possible way — and it feels like the kind of creative spiral that only happens when a project really starts to take on a life of its own.

The tear-away pants alone are such a perfect example of that. It starts as a fun, ridiculous moment… and suddenly it becomes essential. Like of course Elvis needs tear-away pants. Of course they need bell bottoms. Of course there’s a dramatic reveal. It’s that kind of logic where the more you lean in, the more right it feels.

What I love most here is how mistakes and misunderstandings aren’t being corrected — they’re being *kept*. The labyrinth vs. *Labyrinth* mix-up could have easily been dismissed, but instead it becomes a whole layer of the show. That’s where the magic is. It’s not over-planned perfection, it’s creative accidents turning into highlights.

And honestly, the image of an Elvis impersonator morphing mid-performance into a Bowie-inspired Jareth figure while singing “Dance Magic” is so bizarre that it loops back around into brilliance. It feels unexpected, theatrical, and completely in line with the surreal tone you’re building.

There’s also something really great about the DIY energy running through all of this — reworking secondhand materials, learning new skills just to make one moment land, building something that feels handmade but intentional. It gives the whole production personality.

If anything, this reinforces the idea that the show works best when it doesn’t hold back. The audience isn’t coming for subtle — they’re coming for moments they *can’t predict*. And this definitely delivers that.

So no… it’s not too much.

If anything, you’re getting closer to exactly enough."
