Sciencenter
The "How Many is a Million?" exhibit just turned 20! ⚙️🎉The first time someone turned the gear was on July 6, 2006, and since then, it's been spun 71 million times. 🤩 Have you turned the gears or broken the glass? Share your favorite memory in the comments!

Q: What’s the rarest animal at the Sciencenter?
A: Colin says… it depends on how you look at it!
Our Angolan python is the rarest snake in our collection.
The axolotl is the most threatened amphibian in the wild.
But the crocodile lizard probably takes the crown overall, with fewer than 1,000 individuals left in the wild!

This weekend (June 27-28), Team Sciencenter is on the move!
We're joining our friends at The History Center in Tompkins County and Museum of the Earth at the Paleontological Research Institution for Move for Museums, a friendly fundraising competition supporting the museums that make our community stronger.
Want to participate? We'd love to have you on Team Sciencenter. Choose to bike, walk, or run and raise money along the way! Prefer to cheer from the sidelines? You can donate to any Team Sciencenter participant to help us reach our $5,000 goal.
