Station 72 made a stop at Synergy Learning Academy in Issaquah last week. It was an awesome chance to talk to the kids about basic fire safety.

EF&R had a blast at the Goats, Trucks and Good Times event in Carnation. It was a great chance to see goats working to mitigate wildfire risk and chat about wildfire mitigation. EF&R along with Bellevue (WA) Fire Department Medics, King County Search and Rescue, Seattle Mountain Rescue, King County Sheriff's Office Guardian One worked through the hail and snow this afternoon to rescue a critically injured hiker who had fallen on Haystack Rock on Mt. Si. Trail rescues take an incredible amount of coordination between agencies and a massive effort from rescuers. Please be prepared for inclement weather when hiking in our region, as the weather can change quickly at high elevations.
