Happy New Rotary Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July celebrating our country's 250th birthday.

We are excited to kick off an incredible 50th Anniversary year together. Before we look ahead, a quick thank you to Nadia and Brenda for their leadership and service over the past year. We appreciate everything you did to keep our club moving forward!

Our next meeting is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Big Block Brewing -- hope to see everyone there.

At the Turning of the Wheel, President Claudina shared her Big Hairy Audacious Goal for our 50th anniversary year: 50 service projects to celebrate 50 years of service!

We're already on the board! A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Issaquah 4th of July Parade. That's Service Project #1, officially in the books!

Help us celebrate America's birthday by joining in to help organize Issaquah's annual 4th of July Parade (Down Home Kids and Pets Parade!) Rotary has always had a presence at this event and we are calling on our members to help out.
We need volunteers for the parade Tomorrow (Saturday, July 4th) from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. Specifically, we need people to help guide parade participants where to check-in, where to stand, and then during the parade – keep the parade moving and keep people in/out of the parade procession. Volunteer Check-In is @ 8 AM at the Shelter at Confluence Park. You may contact Janie Bube at [email protected] or fellow member, Wally Bobkiewicz, also mentioned just showing up at the volunteer check-in and you will be assigned a spot for the Parade.
