Meet the Habicats cats! This is Indie
AKA Miss Darkness!
She's about 12 years old and refuses to eat anything but Fancy Feast and shredded cheese.
The last time she got in trouble was either for biting the mom's fingers while she typed, or for sleeping right in the center of mom's pillow (while mom was sleeping, too).
She is darkness incarnate, and is probably the demon that haunts your dreams. But really, all she wants is to nap in your lap and drool. All day. Seriously, don't move.

Meet one of our founders, Allie! Allie met fellow Habicats founder Courtney through a college mentor after getting her bachelor's in video game development. The sparks of creativity flew instantly and the two couldn't stop the ideas from flowing (and the gushing over cute cats together).

Now working as a full-time graphic designer, Allie creates the hand-drawn designs on Habicats houses on nights and weekends. She believes in delivering unique and lovingly-made designs that can't be found anywhere else!

She also adores video games, DIY projects of all kinds, and going on adventures to places she's never seen. All of these inspire what you see in her designs!

Meet Courtney! 🐾

Equipped with a design background and a freshly minted MBA, Courtney founded Habicats in 2020, because no similar product had withstood the ferocity of her 15lb furballs. She wanted to give cat owners a higher quality product, and she wanted a product she knew was safe and sustainable for her fur babies and others.

Her childhood battle with leukemia showed her the importance of pursuing your dreams at all costs and giving back as much as possible.

She only adopts black cats because not only are they gorgeous and loving, but they also have the hardest time getting adopted.

Some of her other creative pursuits include building a luxury catio for her kitties and needlepointing projects that always seem to have a little extra cat hair stitched in. 😻
