Imbolc, also called Saint Brigid’s day, is a Gaelic traditional festival. Imbolc marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Ancient celebrations took the form of a festival in honor of the pagan goddess Brigid, who has evoked infertility, blessings and prophecy. Brigid is considered one of the most powerful Celtic goddesses to many, and the daughter of Dagda. Today I am celebrating by anointing you spell candle with a Celtic symbol in Brigid’s honor.
