Tamiya model fans! On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the San Diego Model Expo, now celebrating its 26th anniversary, will be taking place at the San Diego Air & Space Museum Annex.

This is a model contest and swap meet that’s open to the public.

Also, Tamiya America will be displaying new and upcoming products in the vendor area!

Spring is here, which means warmer weather (for some). Time for some outdoor drive time - charged batteries, rebuilt rides and clean tires.

The 1/12 Mini Cooper 1.3l Model Kit is on it's way back and includes all the awesome features of the original - Full interior, suspension and an opening hood to reveal a complete 1.3-liter inline-4 powerplant.

Updates include a new decal sheet, instructions and a few other additional masking elements!
