So fortunate to be invited to attend “the future of healthcare” conference at UCI today with 5 of my community health senior nursing students. Katie Kalvoda and her team at Advance OC are leading the way on making our communities healthier.

CUI community health nursing teaming up with the wellness center at Concordia Irvine’s turtle rock campus. Midnight madness and education on substance abuse by our senior nursing students.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT: We are planning our next mission trip.. we will be heading to Coast Rica to partner with Mission Activation, approx dates 2/28-3/5. Details are still being finalized. Estimated cost will be $1,700 which includes airfare, lodging, food, spirit wear 😀, excursion day, cost will also include medication and supplies costs that we will be taking for the trip. I will be taking approx. 12 people, open to all Applicants including alumni, RN’s that speak Spanish, current students, etc. please let me know if your interested and I will be sending out information next week. We are so excited! Mission Activation here we come..
