Another high seismic project with Seismic Design Category D. This 275,000 sf building is a data center and is located in McCarren, Nevada. The lateral system consists of special concentrically braced frames (SCBF), intermediate moment frames (IMF), and intermediate precast shear walls (tilt up).

Getting creative and making a difference is what makes structural design so appealing. In this mixed-use project in Dallas, TX, a five-story mixed-use building will be built over an existing two-story concrete frame building. The structural engineers at Artin designed a system that bypassed the existing building, thus avoiding expensive reinforcing costs.
