250 anni fa nasceva una Nazione destinata a cambiare la storia.

Da italiana che oggi ha il privilegio di vivere a New York, posso dire che l’America è molto più di un luogo: è il simbolo del coraggio di partire, della libertà di scegliere e della speranza di ricominciare.

Per milioni di persone è stata la terra delle opportunità. Per molti dei nostri nonni e antenati è stata la possibilità di costruire un futuro che sembrava impossibile.

Oggi celebro questa storia con gratitudine.

Se dovessi descrivere l’America con una sola parola… quale sarebbe?

250 years ago, a nation was born that would help shape the world.

As an Italian who now has the privilege of living in New York, I’ve come to see America as more than a place. It is a symbol of courage, freedom, and the hope of a new beginning.

For millions, it has been the land of opportunity. For many of our grandparents and ancestors, it represented the chance to build a future that once seemed impossible.

Today, I celebrate that story with gratitude.

Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸

As the eyes of millions are on the FIFA World Cup, we will use this opportunity to amplify the voice of the Iranian people and send a clear message to the world: the Islamic Republic does not represent Iran or the Iranian people.
Both outside and inside the stadium, united under the Lion and Sun flag, we will stand together to show the world that Iran is not the Islamic Republic.
