It is a gentle, safe and effective means to reduce stress, anxiety, pain and supports one's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

In Reiki level 1 you will learn about self-healing with energy, the history of Reiki, how to perform Reiki on yourself and your loved ones with specialized hand techniques. I offer multiple reflective and interactive practice activities to provide a deep informative, enriching and transformational experience to help you break through whatever is holding you back from living your best self! We can all experience mindfulness anywhere, anytime by paying attention with an open attitude. There are many ways to intentionally practice mindfulness throughout the day. They can easily be incorporated into daily tasks and should not take any extra time.

Choose a daily task to bring mindfulness into your day, such as brushing your teeth, getting dressed, taking a steamy shower, eating etc...

Bring a sense of exploration and curiosity to your daily routine. Remember not to judge yourself but to accept what arises. Simply observe the way things are as they are right now.

You can create a habit of mindfulness:

 Connect with your intention—remind yourself why you want to practice, how it supports your values (for example, that it will help you be more present to your children, less reactive at work, more at ease with yourself).

 Notice the rewards, the benefits of your practice.

 Deliberately thank yourself for practicing.

 Create a pattern: for example, sit for five minutes when you get up every day and just be present with yourself, your breath and body sensations.

 Set reminders. These can be visual cues or computer pings or anything else that works for you.

 Reflect on your practice—what worked? What helped you to start?

 Make a commitment to yourself—even write it up with specifics about what you plan to do.
