UIowa Immunology Graduate Program

The Immunology Graduate Program's seminar series continues tomorrow. Silvia Uriarte, PhD from the University of Louisville will be here presenting on "Cellular Chess: Neutrophils Countering Microbial Moves."

Seminars take place at 1pm in BSB Auditorium 1 - Beisner. Dr. Uriarte's seminar is made possible through the support of our cosponsors, the Department of Dentistry's Oral Health Research Group and the Center for Immunology and Immune Based Diseases.

Join us tomorrow February 25th for a special seminar by Kalpaj Parekh, MBBS. Dr. Parekh is the DEO of the department of Cardiothoracic Surgery here at the University of Iowa and will be presenting on "Chronic Lung Allograft Dysfunction after lung transplantation: what have we learned from the ferret model?" at 1pm in BSB Beisner Auditorium.

Join us this Wednesday at 1:00pm in BSB Beisner Auditorium for our next guest speaker seminar. Stephanie Jost, PhD, Associate Professor of Surgery at Duke University will be presenting a seminar on "Harnessing Adaptive NK Cells for Broad Antiviral Immunity via HLA-E."

Dr. Jost's seminar is cosponsored by the Center for Immunology and Immune Based Diseases & the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.

Join us tomorrow for the last Immunology seminar of the semester. Kebin Liu, PhD from the Medical College of Georgia will be presenting a seminar on the "Functional Role of PD-L1 in Inflammation and Cancer" in BSB Beisner Auditorium at 1:00pm.
