Due to unmanageable restrictions being placed on the council by Forestry we will have to cancel the 2021 Jamboree. This was a tough decision since we have not been able to have a Jamboree for several years. We simply do not have enough volunteers to put on the shoot as well as police all the additional restrictions being forced upon us this year. We have already gained approval to have the event next year as we have done it in the past however we have not ruled out the possibility of changing venue all together. Our 50+ year relationship with forestry and the Holder mine campground has changed dramatically due to staff that we have dealt with for years retiring and not sharing the historical information about the jamboree with the new staff. We will be working diligently to make sure there will be a Bowhunters Jamboree next year. In the meantime, we are actively seeking volunteers and area representatives.
