Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be unavailable from June 6th to the 25th. Taking a well deserved vacation to St. Vincent & the Grenadines with my son and family. While im in the Caribbean, I will not be able to receive calls. So a message on here would be your best bet, or with whatsapp. A month later I'll be in Alaska from July 20th to August 5th, while im in Alaska I will be able to receive calls and will be able to put you on the schedule for when I return. In the meantime, I'm working with my associate Nick Phillips to have him fulfill your outboard needs while im gone.

Just a reminder to check fuses! If you have a relatively new outboard, youre going to have fuses. Some more than others! ⚡️

This optimax had a sudden loss of its tilt and trim from the console and from the side of the motor. I initially suspected an issue with the solenoid, but decided to check fuses. Lo and behold a little 15amp fuse was busted.

Granted, it's something that you may want to keep an eye on. If it continues to blow you unfortunately, have another issue.

In your emergency kit for your boat, I recommend keeping some spares for your motor as well as spare fuses for the boat itself, If you don't already have them! 🔌⚡️

Happy Thanksgiving, I know I sound like a broken record. But I think this is a simple but nevertheless, important task in insuring the health of your motor.

If you're doing it yourself or getting your motor serviced at a shop, make sure this gets done.
