Due to the severe weather moving through our area, the Inkster Police Department is currently experiencing a power outage. As a result, we are temporarily unable to access some of our systems, including weather alert notifications.

Our officers remain on duty and are actively responding to calls for service. If you encounter downed power lines or other storm-related hazards, please stay away from them and report them immediately. We are working closely with the Inkster Fire Department and our utility partners to address hazardous conditions as quickly and safely as possible.

We appreciate your patience as we work to restore our systems and resume normal operations.

Please use extra caution while traveling, avoid flooded roadways and downed wires, and check on your neighbors, especially seniors and those who may need assistance.
