This July 1–7, we’re joining nonprofits across the country to Nourish the American Dream, a national fundraising campaign launched by Albertsons Companies with one collective goal: to nourish every child’s potential.

Together, with nonprofits nationwide, we are working to raise a cumulative $5 million and start a revolution that ends childhood hunger once and for all.

Good news for California families!

The published state budget bill includes continued investments in programs that help fight hunger and strengthen communities by:
🥕 Supporting emergency food banks through CalFood
📝 Sustaining CalFresh Outreach to help eligible families access nutrition benefits
🍼 Expanding access to diapers for families with young children
🌾 Investing in locally grown food for California communities through the Local Food Purchase Assistance (LFPA) Program

These investments will help food banks like FIND Regional Food Bank continue providing nutritious food and connecting neighbors with the resources they need.
