PRAISE REPORT ✨

Now that everyone is back and rested, we wanted to take a moment to thank God for allowing another cohort of the Through the Eyes of Youth program to safely travel to Ghana and back. Following the 12-week program where students explored their own culture, identity and perceptions of community while sharing photos back and forth with their peers in Accra and Cape Coast, the program culminated in this 10-day adventure. The incredible collaboration between Sustainable Connexions International, OVC Connexions Ghana, Why Aren't You Smiling Inc. and EMCC continues to foster powerful examples of global community building and service learning.

Thank you to Iaaqli Initiative for supporting this important work. We’re proud to continue to build first-hand experiences where students are being fully immersed in culture, history and global citizenship.

Thank you, Mirror Indy for highlighting EMCC's first ever Parents as Teachers program graduation. The first cohort of preschool-age home visitation and parent education students are headed to Kindergarten this fall!

This same day, EMCC Preschool graduated 10 students as part of the class of 2026, several of whom started the Center as infants! (see the comments for a cuteness tax)

EMCC is very proud of these future leaders and their families. Early education experiences are more than just ensuring our children are ready for kindergarten, they're about strengthening the foundation for lifelong learning. 🍎
