One of the other projects I have been messing with lately, is a replica of Butch Lindley's #16 late 70's Pontiac bodied LMS car.
I started with a Salvino LeMans kit, then added a resin nose from Luka Cee, it was pushed back, and I shortened the hood as well.
Other body mods were cutting out the roof posts, enlarging and flaring the rear fenders, and raking the roof down slightly. Which then in turn meant the entire top of the roll cage needed rebuilt with .080 rod. I think I may have shortened the doors up as well to get the whole car lower.
New front fender humps were added with some cheap, plastic kitchen spoons. They had the perfect shape!
I'm also using an awesome set of these diamond hole rims from Ron C**n resins.
I am just about ready to get some primer on, and see just how much more body work I have to do, but so far it has been a fun little project!

More progress on the Jaye's 3D printed Kyle Busch truck....the interior roll cage and cockpit is all finished. The roll cage comes as one printed piece, and you can see the other parts in their raw form before I painted anything. This mostly involves spraying a few things, and some brush detail painting.
I used a few goody decals from one of Mike's goody sheets to spruce it up a bit. This sub-assembly can now be glued to the chassis pan. And I am on to painting and decals on the body. Should have color in a few days!
