John Urschel, former Baltimore Ravens player, has made an incredible career pivot from the NFL to academia, now serving as a math professor at MIT. After retiring at 26, Urschel dedicated himself to advanced mathematics, earning his Ph.D. from MIT and making significant contributions to the field. Now, as part of MIT's faculty, Urschel aims to inspire diversity in STEM, encouraging young Black students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
