Indianapolis, IN 46204
*Voters will have easy access to the Clerk’s office if they use the Delaware Street entrance to the City-County Building. The office is located on the first floor of the west wing of the building.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Early voting generally begins 28 days before any election, and any voter can come to the Clerk’s Office to cast their ballot before Election Day. You do not need a reason to vote early, but you must have a valid, photo ID issued by the state of Indiana or federal government (Indiana Photo ID Laws).
When you arrive at an early voting location, you will be asked to complete an application to vote absentee. (Any person casting a vote before Election Day is considered an absentee voter under Indiana law since your ballot won’t be counted until Election Day.) After you present your ID and your application is approved, you will be handed a ballot to complete on site. You then seal your ballot in a security envelope and it is safely stored until it’s counted on Election Day.

Daub Park Fall Migration Birding
Saturday September 19, 8:00–9:30am
Many birds migrate through our area as they head south for winter. We'll be looking for warblers, song birds, etc. (about 100 species of birds have been seen or heard here). Learn where they are headed and why. For novices to dedicated birders. Learn how to ID birds, and how to use binoculars like a pro.
Bring: Binoculars or share ours. Dress for the weather & closed shoes. Minors should bring an adult.
Leaders: 1) Rob Ripma, Nutty Birder (NuttyBirder.com) and owner and trip leader for Sabrewing Nature Tours (www.sabrewingtours.com) 2) Amy Hodson, birder and bird photographer
Notes:
• Programs are family friendly, but kids must be with their adults. Most programs require quiet focus for at least one hour, so please use your judgment for the benefit and enjoyment of all attendees.
• Eco-walks involve a bit of gentle, medium-paced walking and more standing in place. Trails are packed dirt, grass, or boardwalks, with mostly gradual slopes, and could accommodate a wheelchair in most areas.
• All programs are outdoors and exposure to the elements is involved. Please dress appropriately. There are no indoor facilities. A liability waiver will be provided for all participants to sign. For last-minute extreme weather cancellations, updates will be sent via text message to those who have signed up and provided a cell phone.
For more about the park, visit www.daubpark.org (There is no program info on the site now, due to tech difficulties with updating the site.) To get on our email list for updates, write to [email protected]
